Kate Curran BSc (Surv), Dip Arb Law, MRICS, MSCSI, ACIArb
Kate was based in Dublin until 2002 where she obtained a first class honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying from Trinity College Dublin and the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and a Diploma in Arbitration Law from University College Dublin. Kate worked with Hamilton Osborne King in Dublin, in its retail / retail rent review department and prior to that had worked with Lisney in its valuation and professional services department. Major projects worked on during her time in Dublin include rent reviews of retail units in the Jervis, Blanchardstown and Square Shopping Centres in Dublin, the portfolio valuation of Telecom Eireann and compulsory purchase advice to Kildare and Kilkenny County Councils on the addition of the third lane on the N7 dual carriageway and the Piltown / Fiddown by pass etc. Kate’s experience is primarily in the retail, valuation and professional services sectors of the Irish property market as well as the residential sales sector at local level. Kate regularly gets appointed to determine rent reviews acting as an arbitrator or independent expert and is retained by a UK multiple to advise it in relation to its nationwide rateable valuation assessments.
